Unpardonable sin?

Post by TheNextPrez2012 on Thu Jun 10, 2010 1:41 pm

I have heard people say that there is only one sin that God can not forgive--to speak against the Holy Spirit. This is because if you speak against the Holy Spirit, he will leave you and that gives no "bridge" to God.

This is fine but aren't we told that God and Holy Spirit the same person? Why does the Holy Spirit leave you but God stays with you if you speak against him...they're the same person!

Saying "God is a bleepin' bleep and bleep...." and then asking for forgiveness is acceptable and God will forgive you for that. but if you say the same thing to the Holy Spirit, he does not forgive you but he does leave you.

You expect anything about religion to make sense? Seriously, spend just 5 mins talking to a creationist and you will see what I mean.

It's why i refuse to debate the meat and potatoes of religion. Too many contradictory issues that don't transcend from one belief to the other. Then there's the issue of logic.
