11 point jump in approval

Obama gets an 11 point jump in his approval ratings after bin Laden's (alleged) death.

That's pretty good considering the fact that Obama didn't do the killing and Osama was in the place before Obama took office.

Bush Sr. had a large approval rating right after Gulf War I. It tanked in the following months. He lost the '92 elections because of his handling of the economy. Obama will lose in 2012.

I find it hilarious on other message boards with cons and libs going at it, talking about who should get credit for this... Bush or Obama. Well, obviously, it goes to Obama. Bush's credit is setting the thing up and having the intelligence service enabled to do their thing. But it's Obama's baby for the history books.
