EXCLUSIVE! GOP Briefing On Elizabeth Warren
EXCLUSIVE! GOP Briefing On Elizabeth Warren
Well, at least that's the title of my latest song parody.

Guaranteed to amuse! (Well, maybe not if you are a Republican)
Enjoy! (And I would love any and all comments)

Wait, is that you singing? You are a musical satirist? If so, do you have a website?

Re: EXCLUSIVE! GOP Briefing On Elizabeth Warren
Thank you, kronos, for the welcome.
Yes, those are indeed my pipes you are listening to, having intense faith that the lyrics make up for the singing.
I am just someone who is, occasionally, inspired by current events to write a political song parody for anyone who might enjoy them.
Over the last two years I have put sixteen songs on YouTube. I have gotten what I regard as a respectable number of views for an umpromoted amateur.
A few other samples: "The Ballad Of Donald Trump", written during the height of his "candidacy" (music by The Beatles)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JkMcHQJULUQ
"Paul Ryan's Quest", when he unveiled his budget prosposal (music from Man Of La Mancha)
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dSvVwTehqkk&feature=related
And now that New York is again taking up the question of gay marriage, a sendup of the opposition I did in 2009 is again relevant. "A Wedding Traditionalist's Lament", sung to the tune of New York, New York.

I don't have any website, but it's easy to find my songs on YouTube. Just type in the search box Ken Collins song parody, and most of them will come up.
Anyway, I'm pleased to have found your board, and thanks for your interest.
