The Limbaugh/Maher comparisons

I hate the left's cop out saying Maher is "just a comedian" and Rush is the leader of the conservative movement. No, he's a contributor to the Democratic party, he donates money to them and his show is entirely political, he spends the whole time viciously attacking conservatives and republicans, I've seen his show a few times, it's pretty vile and the audience that laughs at his jokes are vile too. I remember liberals saying that Rush is an entertainer a few years ago, maybe Rush should donate a good chunk of his money to a super pac and maybe he'll be able to say whatever he wants.

But he's an entertainer.

Yes... Limbaugh is an entertainer and he makes no apologies for it. He has said, many times, that his job is first and foremost, to entertain his audience.

That he can do that while imparting valuable truths to his audience just speaks to his skill as an entertainer.

This attempt to differentiate what Maher does from what Rush does is a lie.

Maher spews vile hatred and vicious attacks all the time, Rush made one mistake and should have not said what he said. But of course anything the right does is magnified by a million.

Quite true Mark, but then this is just the world we live in today. Leftists dominate the "educational" system, the judiciary, the federal bureaucracy (and most state bureaucracies - both thanks to government unions, which should be outlawed btw), and the MSM.

It's a sad state of affairs, but one which our founders and others (de Tocqueville among them) predicted.

She's not dumb, just because she had a bad interview doesn't make her dumb. Of course you believe the narrative that she's a moron the media and the networks put out there all the time. If she was so dumb, they would have stopped paying attention to her and talking about her a long time ago, but they've been consistently attacking her for the last four years. They clearly see her as a real threat, she's a conservative and a woman and has a lot of influence in the conservative movement.
