Maybe if this country was respectable, the "leftists" wouldn't be embarrassed or offended.
In short don't make this a left vs. right thing...because it isn't.

Hating the national anthem is stupid, it's always been there, and if someone doesn't like America they should get the hell out. And yes, leftists have a pattern of saying these types of things, people on the right don't. That's just a fact.

Also like the principal in NYC that is banning the song God Bless the USA by Lee Greenwood because it might "offensive" to other cultures? So people come here to this country because of freedom and opportunity, and there is a song sung about that, it's going to offend them? Not buying it, there's something else behind. Ever since Obama's been in office, being an American is a bad word. Every country has a song or anthem, but when America does it, it's wrong, and the left is trying to take away the supremacy of America, that keeps peace throughout the world.

Values? What are they? I think we had those things a long time ago when the VCRs were the hot new thing.

Oh and I would never wear a pin. It doesn't give special powers like giving you the ability to make quicker and better decisions.
If I wear something just so a bunch of overly conservative - comment deleted - feel happy then let them be upset.
