Clay pigeon shooting

So, for a second time in my life today I used a shotgun. We had a work away day... one of these morale building days and we went to another military training camp on the coast to indulge in chosen activities.

I was keen to try clay pigeon shooting and get more of a chance than I did the last time (about 4 years ago now). I was shockingly bad in the beginning (had 4 goes of 12 shots each. I hit 2 in the first 12, 0 in the second 12, 2 in the third 12) but once the experienced clay pigeon shooter helped me improve my technique I was hitting them out of the sky like a sharpshooter 7/10 I hit. Quite enjoyable actually. Something quite satisfying about watching those things shatter into a dozen pieces.

Sounds like fun. You'd enjoy guns more than you think.

I don't have a problem with guns per se, I just don't agree with people being allowed to carry them around everywhere.

10th October, I'm having my first clay pigeon shooting lesson, can't wait
