Phil Collins Playing Drums With Black Sabbath
But he does a nice job considering it's not his style of music.
From Buckingham Palace, i believe. Not sure what the event was though.

I love Phil. The man is God.
Don't hold me to it, but I think this may be Party At The Palace from 2003.

Never heard of that event. Maybe Matt can shed some light on this.
Phil played drums for Sabbath at the Live Aid festival back in '85. That was a one-off for Ozzy back then.
I'm a HUGE fan of Phil with Genesis. I'm also a very huge fan of Black Sabbath (guitarist Tony Iommi in particular).
Did you know he's missing the tips of his fingers on his fret hand? He uses rubber thimbles while playing.

Tony explaining what happened (industrial accident when he was a teenager) and how he overcame it. His explanation starts about one minute into the song. This was from their reunion tour (all the original members) back in 1997.

You're quite right, it is the Party at the Palace. I believe Phil Collins played drums for just about everyone that night:

With regards to Phil Collins - good drummer but sadly, a complete tit.

Why's he a tit? Is it something i missed?
Her's an incredible drummer. Only Neil Peart from Rush is better.
Huge Genesis fan here.
So, is Iommi's accent still a Birmingham accent? I do know that's where he (and the rest of Sabbat6h) were raised.

He's just a bit pretentious. He's a bit like Bono but a little less self-absorbed. But yes, an amazing drummer.
Re: Phil Collins Playing Drums With Black Sabbath
He doesn't come off to me that way. But then, i'm not British either.

"No Jacket Required" is one of my favorite albums. There are two songs that captured moments with me. And then there's what he did at Live Aid. Unforgettable.BecMacFeegle wrote:i_luv_miley wrote:I love Phil. The man is God.

And Party At The Palace was just a guess, but I actually own it on DVD and saw Phil in a few different spots. But mainly I got the DVD because I wanted to have Ozzy and Atomic Kitten.
