cute(?) spellers
It's not really heavy or political but here's one thing that bothers me...
People that try to be cute by spelling words to match the spelling of other close words in the statement (such as "Ken's Konfessions" or maybe "Kenfessions")

That and people who just can't spell for shit. My misspellings are mostly typos because I'm a sorry typist.
People who don't know the difference between there, their and they're really piss me off. Or to and too.

But seriously... yeah, I know what ya mean. Our K-12 schools are disgraceful failures. And they've only gotten worse since the creation of the Department of Education. What does that tell you?

Told ya I couldn't type for shit. Spell check for my lousy typing doesn't catch things like that.

Tells me plenty. My stance is that if something isn't working, try something different. Oh, ummm... like letting the states take care of it?

Yeah, I know. I make typos all the time... that's what editors are for.

Heaven forbid we localize education authority - returning it to the states where it belongs - and get rid of the more than useless Dept of Education. THAT would be too sane for our imperial federal government.

I screw those up all the time, though. I especially overuse their. Not because I don't know the difference, I just get careless and have brain farts.

That happens to me... especially when I'm banging out a long response and not paying particular attention to grammar...

It has happened to be due to conditions you described. But there's people who seriously don't know the difference.
Ooops. Their's people who don't no the difference.
Another annoying one is defiantly... when it should be definitely.

As "there's" is a contraction of "there is," your use of "there's" above is not grammatically correct as that sentence should read "there ARE" people who don't know the difference...
*the strikes again!*

A neologism of your own eh? Seems a bit on the nose, no?

"Rediculous" is one I see all the time, even from people I thought would've known better.
