Robin Ince, co-presenter of BBC Radio 4s Infinite Monkey Cage and creator of the sell out smash Nine Lessons and Carols for Godless People will be introducing great minds of science including – Professor Brian Cox, the other presenter of Infinite Monkey Cage, is also writer and presenter of Wonders of The Solar System and soon to be aired Wonders of the Universe.

Dr Ben Goldacre, author of Bad Science and slayer of bamboozlers.

Simon Singh, author of the best-selling and award winning Fermats Last Theorem, as well as Big Bang and Trick Or Treatment.

A night like no other, mixing live presentations and fabulous projections of the phenomenal.

I can't tell exactly what it is--a 'science concert' of some sort?

More or less. Interesting concept, I'd like to go to another one. It was very much a series of lectures by experts for the layman with lots of humour.

Tonight we saw Ben Goldacre talking about media misinformation about medical science and interference by pharmaceutical companies to distort the scientific process, Robin Ince talking about his lifelong interest in science, Brian Cox talking about relativity, Simon Singh discussing the Big Bang theory and Steve Jones talking about skin colour variation. Jones commented wryly that he gets invited to such events only when Richard Dawkins isn't available. There was also a woman who was a physicist who sang some funny songs she had written. Finally, Brian Cox came back on to talk about Carl Sagan.
