I don't see that these articles contradict the original post. Some Coptic Christians have expressed concern of who/what might replace Mubarak and others are joining in the protest.

Bleh. That may come from commentators. If you watch an actual newscast on there, it wouldn't be any different than what one is seeing from our television networks newscasts.

News anchors vs commentators = two different things. O'Reilly or Hannity talking shit about it is like Rachel Maddow or Chris Matthews on MSNBC giving their opinion on things.
