This was when the 4 guys got back together after 22 years. Yes, Pink Floyd has toured since 1983 (1987-88 and 1994) but this was when a very bitter feud between David Gilmour (guitarist/vocals) and Roger Waters (bass/vocals) was buried for this Live 8 festival back in 2005. Roger quit the band in 1985, calling the Floyd a spent force. When the remaining members decided to record a new album (1986), Roger sued them.

Three years after this performance, keyboardist Richard Wright died of cancer.
