The CBO projects the law will eliminate an estimated 800,000 jobs. The fashionable retort is to note that this effect “primarily comes from workers who choose not to work because they no longer have to work at jobs just for the health insurance.” That defense fails for two reasons. First, a “job” is when Smith and Jones exchange labor for money. It doesn’t matter whether Jones withdraws the money or Smith withdraws the labor. Either act eliminates a job. Second, it’s an odd defense of a law to say it encourages people to consume without producing.

That the administration would even think of making such a justification really shows that Obama and his "crew" are indeed natural allies of the Marxist/communist/socialist OWS mob.
We are becoming a society of takers, not producers; just as Obama likes it. All those soon to be government-dependent voters out there to swell the Democrats ranks are too tempting a target to pass up.

Obama never has cared about jobs, ever. He only wants power and will act like he's pro capitalist just long enough to get us on board but he'll just do what the hell he wants as long as he has power. I hope America smartens up and votes this man out.

Name the weakest candidate in the Republican field and I would still take take candidate over Obama.

Yeah, you're right. When more than half the people are getting a check from the government and almost half pay no taxes at all, it is a tenuous time for constitutional republicanism.
