Why don't we have a budget?

That’s a simple question, but an important one: Why don’t we have a budget?
One word … Democrats. Democrats know full well how much financial trouble this country is in. Their precious Barack Obama said he would cut the deficit in half during his first term in office. He didn’t. If Democrats propose a budget that budget will have to please the Democrat moocher constituency. This means more spending … more government dependence … more deficits. This they don’t want to do in an election year.
If you’re hungry for some entertainment, you can listen to Democrats make excuses for their failure to do what the Constitution demands of them … propose and pass a budget. Take David Axelrod, for example. In an interview with Fox News, he was asked that simple question, which required a complicated response from him in order to obfuscate the truth. First he blamed it on the “dynamics of the Senate.” What Axelrod is trying to say here is that you need 60 votes to pass a budget in the Senate. He’s wrong, and he knows he’s wrong. You can’t filibuster a budget … only 51 votes are needed, and the Democrats have those votes. The Democrats have held a majority in the Senate since 2007. Then Axelrod blamed the “deep divisions in the Congress between the House and the Senate.” Interesting … what was his excuse from 2007-January 2010 when Democrats also held the majority in the House? Then the kicker is that Axelrod believes that when the Democrats win in November, “there'll be a greater spirit of cooperation moving forward” in Congress. Yeah … right.
We don’t have a budget because it is not politically expedient for Democrats to pass one. To do so would solidify, on the record, their love of big government. We already know this to be the case, but they refuse to give Republicans any fuel for future campaigns. Remember that it was Harry Reid who said that it would be “foolish” for Democrats to offer a budget last year. What’s foolish is that the American people continue to elect these buffoons.

They get away with lying their asses off.
Yeah, I made an accusation but it's a truthful one. Statements made versus facts and Senate rules dispute that bullshit passed off by Democrats.

That's not an accusation Tex, that's just the cold hard truth!
Democrats and Obama ARE lying their asses off and the MSM are covering their asses by not reporting their lies.

Couldn't agree more. And we could add more than a few "R's" to that list as RINO's are just as bad as Dems.
