Question for those against the health care issue
Is it just the fact that govt. is telling/insisting/ordering you to buy something? Is that the part you think is unfair?
I mean even the most radical GOP person knows that we will all need coverage at some point in our lives.
This isn't a frilly expense like fuzzy dice for your car. It's something we all need.

The mandate is the thing, It's unconstitutional. If they can force people to buy something they don't want, then the govt can do anything it wants. Next thing you know the govt can tell you what you can or can't eat. That's not freedom. And it would cost waaay too much, and further bankrupt the country. And it was shoved through by the Dems who went against the will of the majority people who don't want this law. Why is the govt giving waivers to labor unions and high powered political connected corporations from this law? Also, I don't think this is about health care at all, it's about redistribution of wealth and all that other bullshit that Obama wants to do.

Are you really okay with the gov't telling you to buy something you may or may not need? If you are, I have no further comment because it's not worth my breath.
This law will be ruled unconstitutional.

My Democrat uncle said to me today that if this law is found constitutional, then what's the need for VA services for vets? What's the need for Medicaid (care for the poor)? What's the need for Medicare (for the elderly)?
Those are good points. If we have to buy insurance, then we don't need those other programs. But the leftists won't give those up either.
It's all about control. Nothing more. If anyone believes differently, then they're beyond hope and should enroll to go live in Cuba or Venezuela to see how well they like fucking socialism.

If you don't want it then you pay a fine and--according to the folks at FOX news--there's no penalty for not paying the fine
But here's what I find funny:
Let's say you don't want to buy this insurance and you pay (or don't pay) the fine. You then need insurance in the future for a health condition and you don't have insurance...that forces others to pay it for you.
So YOU got sick and YOUR NEIGHBOR is paying for your hospital stays, medication and other health needs.
What's more unfair...
A) Being told to buy something
or
B) Having somebody else pay for your recovery
If you said "B" then you can pay for other things for me as well. After you pay for my surgery, I need a new monitor for my computer.

It's all bullshit. I currently have insurance and am willing to pay for my own insurance. I don't need your 'god' to pay it for me or to fine me for not paying it.
Fucking socialists.
Fucking socialists.
