You've heard about the riots, haven't you? Yup ... looks like the Hispanics, most of whom are undoubtedly here illegally, have their ponchos in a bunch because the police shot an illegal.

Look ... Los Angeles really has worked hard for these riots. They earned them and they deserve them. This is what happens when your police department adopts a policy of refusing to cooperate with the federal government on issues relating to immigration law; refusing to even go so far as to determine whether or not a person in custody and suspected of a crime is here legally. This was supposed to generate some type of trust between the cops and the illegals ... make it easier to fight crime, and all that.

Well .. along comes an illegal alien from Guatemala named Manuel Jamines. It seems that Manuel has a habit of getting drunk as a skunk quite often ... with the drinking starting at around 9 in the morning. Well the cops get a call at about 9 in the evening telling them that Manuel is wandering around the streets threatening folks with a knife. The cops show up and try to get Manuel the Illegal to put the knife down and behave. He won't. Finally Manuel lunges at a police officer with his knife held over his head ... and is promptly shot and killed. Tango Uniform ... exactly where Manuel needed to be. Now, of course, the Hispanics in the neighborhood are rioting, burning buildings, attacking police officers and innocent civilians ... all in the name of "justice." Justice my buns. If there was any justice every single one of these rioters who is here illegally would be shoved back across the border with a cop bootprint on his ass.

Now ... Don't click on this link. This is for you whiney, candy-assed libs out there who are going to try to tell the rest of us that the police overreacted by shooting poor Manuel when all he had was a knife. Again ... DON'T CLICK ON THIS LINK. It's very graphic and you're going to hate me if you do. But this is what happens to a police officer who tries to disarm a thug who was "only carrying a knife." As the Dallas DEA agent says .... "Always bring a gun to a knife fight."

Wow, that's probably the most educated statement I've heard... LA refuses to co-operate with the Feds so it deserves riots that cost people their lives and destroy countless others.
Boortz has proven again and again that he can't do anything except talk out of his ass about stuff he doesn't even bother to research properly.

...which is not opinion nor hearsay. It is fact! LA is a sanctuary city! That's the definition of what a sanctuary city is. Sanctuary cities protect illegal aliens through local resolutions, executive orders or city ordinances. City police departments can also issue their own special orders, policies and general orders to the similar effect.

And so LA deserves riots that cost people their lives and livelyhoods? Nice!

Let's not debate the issue now. Let's split straws.

What issue? That illegals are rioting? How can you possibly debate that?

Sanctuary city. That's the topic here. Riots are a child of that because of the cities refusing to enforce laws on the books.

You really should watch the news piece Bubbles before you spout off with stuff like "cost people their lives an livelihoods." No ones life and no ones livelihood was lost in that small riot. That's number one.

Number 2, as Tex observed, this is what you get when you adopt policies that actually SANCTION ILLEGAL ACTIVITY - and that is what Los Angeles has done by deliberately becoming a sanctuary city! They are sanctioning illegal activity - allowing ILLEGAL ALIENS to live and work in the city without pursuing and prosecuting them for BREAKING THE LAW as they have done by being there ILLEGALLY!

So yes, LA deserves what it gets as a result of irresponsible and wrong-headed policies like making LA a sanctuary city. And the people of LA, ALL OF THEM, deserve it as well because you get the government you vote for. And FAR too many in LA are the very type of people who would go along with something as looney-left as sanctioning illegal activity. Those citizens should reap the predictable outcome of such an insane policy for they are responsible for allowing it to come to pass.

I hope I've made the point more than clear here.

I expect nothing less than what LA sanctions because that city is almost as liberal as San Francisco. But it's these policies that made my friend move from LA to Ft. Worth back in 1996.
