Happy Birthday!
Planet Earth!
In 1564, Archbishop James Ussher used biblical chronologies to calculate that the planet Earth came into being on 23rd October 4004BC. He generally thought that the time of creation to have been midnight GMT. Archbishop John Lightfoot believed the time of creation to be midday GMT on the same day.
