This was a letter in today's Minneapolis paper. It completely amazes me to no end that people like this even know how to breathe. They also vote, too.

Just for a minute, turn the tables



Come on, people -- don't you know what all the threats and fuss and war talk in regards to Iran having nuclear capabilities is about? It's about Iran having some leverage!

Iran sees the United States as a huge and looming threat, having ravaged neighboring Iraq and Afghanistan with war and destruction and deaths.

It also has observed that the United States seems to have a bit more respect toward any country that already has nuclear capabilities, seeing as how they're on more equal footing with us.

It's about some leverage. Iran, with good cause, just feels threatened. It just wants to level the playing field.

Yup, another 'Peace in our time' type that prefers appeasement to genuinely keeping the playing field level in the middle east.

It must be the shrooms... or the dope... it's certainly a dopey letter.
