It seems like the GOP or Republicans or Conservatives are saying things that work well overall but are not applicable to the issues of current times.
Sure limited government would be great but it should have been that way from the beginning. We can't put in limited govt. the way things are these days. It needs to be put in gradually over the years just like the country was ruined over the course of decades...

And each side with their supporters blaming the other side is not helping either.

So, we keep gov't huge and spend even more till we end up like Greece (with nobody to bail us out).

That's politics and always has been. A Dem in the WH gets shit from the right. A Repub in the WH gets shit from the left. It's the way it is and has always been that way.
