What's Wrong With This Statement?
"Everybody is going to get a tax cut under our proposal ... Right now, we are in the majority and we've got to do what we've got to do ... we just don't want to give those making above $250,000 a bonus tax cut." - Democrat Rep. Elijah Cummings

Well DUH!!!! Let's parse this... look at the red text above.
Sure, EVERYBODY is going to get a tax cut - I guess those making $250,000 or more aren't considered to be people and thus fall outside the scope of "everybody."
Honestly, how do people this stupid get elected to public office???

In all honesty, it's the fact that he's talking tax cut. There won't be a tax cut. It will be an extension of them. This is how dishonest these creeps up there are.

Yeah... there is that too. I'm sick of hearing the extension of the current tax rates as being referred to a "tax cut."

Then there's the line that this isn't going to be a tax increase. It's just going back to the level of the 1990's. Duh. It's an increase! Then one has to figure in what the dollar is worth now compared to the 90's.

Unbelievable isn't it??? They call it a "cut" then say it's not an increase! Talk about talking out of both sides of your mouth!!!
