Seriously, people really believe this bullshit? Sadly, they do.... and it's mostly the college aged kids (sorry, Mark).

It disgust me to no end to read about rants like this by supposed "educators."

Yeah, I'm very aware that most college goers are leftists and most likely the next generation of voters will be all leftists.

I live in Pittsburgh, PA.
We have a baseball team that has not had a winning record in 20 years. You can literally be 19 years old and have never seen a winning team for Pittsburgh in your lifetime.
Almost the same idea could be applied to politics. If it were not for Bill Clinton a person could be born January 21, 1981 and go all the way to January 19, 2009 with all GOP presidents (28 straight years). You could be 27 and not know a democratic president!
It seems as if you guys are upset that even through all of those years of GOP time, the public still leans the other way.
They seems to hold their nose, grit their teeth and deal with it until a democrat shows up like Clinton or Obama to halt the runaway train.
And you can't stand the fact there are some people that get that so you beat 'em up (like me)

The fact is simple:
GOP politics works for a time but it's not a good way to run things permanently.

Right lol. Nobody is mad here, we just know that liberalism doesn't and never has and never will work, and Clinton was at least an OK president compared to Obama, Obama didn't halt anything, he made all this shit worse.

NP, it isn't really about Obama. It's liberal policies enacted over the decades that we bitch about. Obama furthers them and had plenty of free reign during his first 2 years as Prez. Remember? He had a Democrat controlled congress.

The best gov't is a divided gov't. That is, one party doesn't control both houses of congress. It didn't work well under Bush's first 6 yrs and it didn't work well during Bama's first 2.

But then again, Prez, it's politics. Most of us here (regular posters) are conservative. We like conservative ideas and detest liberal ones for the most part. Same could be said for you. That's why we have this board.... to debate the ideas and slam the ones we (or you) don't like.

Dissent is cool. I like dissent.

I've posted before on this topic. What we have and have had since just before the turn of the 20th century is an all out war on capitalism by leftists and socialists represented by the Democratic Party.

What is at stake is no less than the survival of our republic as it was meant to be, free and prosperous.

The Democrats have pursued a blatantly obvious campaign to create an overwhelming dependency on government by the people. The Democrats wish to enslave the American people to the government, this is the sad truth of it. It is a truth the Democrats cannot openly state so theh couch it in euphemistic terms.

But whether you realize it or not, this agenda is what you are supporting - rhe enslavement of America.

I, for one, do NOT support that agenda. I can stand on my OWN 2 feet without the nanny state holding my hand, thank you very much.

If you wish to live in a socialist country I suggest you move to Europe.
